Hailing from Trenton, Tennessee, 7thCadet has been carving out his place in music for the past five years, but his story runs much deeper than studio sessions and late-night mixes. Music is woven into his DNA. His great-grandfather once performed alongside icons like Reba McEntire and Johnny Cash, and his great aunt penned “Daddy’s Hands,” the timeless classic sung by Holly Dunn. With a family history like that, it’s no surprise that creativity eventually found its way to him.

But 7thCadet didn’t step into music through the traditional route. He started by making beats, experimenting with sounds, rhythms, and textures until he developed a style he could call his own. That foundation pushed him into engineering for local rappers, which sharpened his ear for mixing, mastering, and building full records from the ground up. What began as curiosity slowly turned into a craft.

Influenced by artists like Lil Uzi Vert, PartyNextDoor, and Travis Scott, 7thCadet brings a blend of rap, hip-hop, and RnB that feels both atmospheric and emotional. His sound pulls from the energy of modern rap while leaning into the smooth, immersive world of RnB. It’s a balance that sets him apart and gives his music an unmistakable vibe.

Over the years, he’s released three albums that reflect his growth. “Spaced Out,” his first real independent tape, dropped in 2022 and marked his debut into the public eye. From there, he teamed up with other artists for “Top 3,” a collaboration project released in 2025, followed later that year by “Oculus,” another joint effort that continued pushing his creativity forward.

Now, he’s entering a new chapter. Signing with Purist Label marks a major turning point, opening doors he’s been patiently waiting to walk through. It’s a moment he feels he’s been working toward for years, and the momentum is finally catching up with the vision.

At the moment, 7thCadet is putting the finishing touches on his upcoming RnB album, “Nocturnal.” It’s expected to arrive soon, and he promises it will show a deeper, more refined side of his artistry. Along the way, he’s also been practicing guitar, adding yet another layer to the sound he’s building.

As for what comes next, he keeps it simple. Just wait and see what’s in store.
