Afghan/Persian international DJ, Ilia Partoandazan Pour aka DJ Yaar is a brand himself. When it comes to some of the most happening and lively parties worldwide, DJ Yaar is the name to trust. It’s his passion and taste for great music that makes him one of the most liked music artists globally.

DJ Yaar is a rage both online and offline. When it comes to offline work, he has performed in several big nations including USA, Dubai, Russia, Canada and New Zealand. He has also sung with big Afghanistan artists like Aryana Saeed, Valy Hedjazi, HabibQaderi , Sadiq Shabab, Jawid Sharif etc and has won 2 awards for best Afghan DJ in 2016-2019.

Talking about his online presence, DJ Yaar enjoys big fan following on social media and YouTube. The much loved music artist has a reach of millions on the internet. Many of his YouTube videos have gone viral and his channel recently got a total of 200,000 approx views.

DJ Yaar has got music in his genes as he comes from a musical background. Based in the Netherlands, he comes from Afghanistan and has a background in Iran. Ilia Partoandazan Pour’s grandfather Ustad Yaar Mohammad Kunduzi is an extremely popular singer in Afghanistan. While growing up, Ilia was inspired by his grandfather’s art and hence decided to take his legacy forward. That’s how he kept his artist name as DJ Yaar.

DJ Yaar began his career in the Netherlands in 2012. And right now, he stands tall as one of the 1st Afghan singing live DJ with a total experience of over 14 years in DJ and live singing.

Talking about his future plans, DJ Yaar says that he wants to continue learning and entertain more people with more and better music. “Learning is the key to becoming better and I want to keep on learning to polish my art even more. I also want to take my work to places where it hasn’t reached yet.” he shares.
