At one point, LaFace Records was the home to not only Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, T.i., 21 Savage, Rihanna, DJ Khaled, Future & Travis Scott and several others. It was also the home to Y Sit GetteUp but gradually over the years certain artists ventured off from the brand and the public never knew.
Last night, Y Sit GetteUp sat down and vented in an interview with TheKaylaK (Kayla Homes) and expressed frustrations with his former label “LaFace Records.” Y Sit GetteUp explained how L.A. Reid signed him to a $1,000,000 contract and how he jump started his career. Y Sit GetteUp also said “I just wanted to stay with the team Hustle Gang, I Have no beef or problems with L.A. Reid it was just a huge misunderstanding.”
Y Sit GetteUp spoke also on spending his 21st birthday in jail. From there, GetteUp spoke about knowing Travis Scott back at an early age and going to the same high school together, before he dropped out and meeting Trae Tha Truth through Travi$ Scott.
