XXL has officially released their 2019 Freshman Class that includes some of the most notable names of hip-hop’s mainstream.
Included on this year’s list is the highly controversial DaBaby and equally as polarizing Blueface, in addition to Megan Thee Stallion who in recent months has become the first woman to sign to 300 Entertainment and is now one of the leading ladies in hip-hop.
Additionally, other rising stars such as Roddy Ricch, Gunna, YBN Cordae, Comethazine, Tierra Whack, Lil Mosey, YK Osiris, and Rico Nasty fill out this year’s Freshman class, all of whom were pictured on the cover for XXL’s 12th annual issue.
The 2019 Freshman issue of XXL magazine will hit stands everywhere on July 16. Fans can see this year’s Freshmen perform live in New York City’s PlayStation Theater on Mon., July 22 and in Los Angeles on Thurs., July 25 at The Novo.
