Wu-Tang Clan will bring its catalog to Ford Field during the Detroit Lions’ Thanksgiving matchup with the Chicago Bears.
Wu-Tang Clan has a new holiday stage lined up. The Detroit Lions announced November 1 that the group will headline their November 26 halftime show, placing a landmark New York rap collective at the center of Detroit’s annual football tradition.
The Bears visit Ford Field for a 1 p.m. Eastern kickoff on CBS. The performance is part of the Lions’ 87th Thanksgiving Day Classic, with Verizon sponsoring the halftime presentation.
Eminem and Paul Rosenberg return as executive producers and talent selectors. It is the second year of their partnership with the team, following last year’s Jack White performance and Eminem’s surprise appearance.
The booking also reconnects Wu-Tang with an audience that has supported the group’s recent touring. As the Detroit Free Press noted, the collective performed at Little Caesars Arena in July 2025 during its farewell-tour run.
That live legacy reaches back to Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), the 1993 debut that introduced records including “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Protect Ya Neck.” Those songs remain part of the group’s identity, although the Thanksgiving announcement does not reveal a set list.
Michigan actor and recording artist Antonio Cipriano is also confirmed to sing the national anthem. For viewers, the date is set; the specific songs and any additional performers remain details to watch as Thanksgiving approaches.
