Sometimes there is a lot to be said about your favorite artists, whether it be their backstory, their creative influences or where they plan on going in the future. Other artists, however, leave it all up to the fans to discern what’s going on with them, and that is the exact case with rising rap star TrapMaulWT$.
A man of few words and many great songs, the proof will always remain in the pudding for San Bernardino, California’s hottest MC, who is coming off a prolific year in which he dropped four singles, the pinnacle of which is most certainly the vibey March release “Spin Again.”
What’s more, TrapMaulWT$ is feeling more empowered than ever when it comes to creating music, and part of that is due to the company he keeps around him.
“I’ve been seeing [my team] going crazy in their respective fields and it inspires me to turn up a little more myself,” he said.
After being recently inspired by an eye-opening dinner in Las Vegas, the young up and comer got more personal with his music, deciding to share real experiences with listeners in order to forge a closer connection.
What came out of that creative mindset is another smooth cut called “Off the Bench,” which features a wavy video from the Inland Empire native’s performance at Sunday Sounds hosted by Green Tea Studios.
“I’ve been challenging myself to get more personal with my music, so I guess that was just an experience I chose to share with people,” he added.
Fortunately for fans of TrapMaulWT$, he doesn’t plan on stopping his prolific release schedule anytime soon. He is determined to keep growing and evolving with his music with the hopes of getting his sound out to as many people as possible, and by the look of things, that’s exactly what’s going to happen.
