His journey started with a computer that a friend gave him, which opened the door to experimenting with music on his own. Soon after, he linked up with his homie Smoke, who had a home studio. That connection sparked endless recording sessions and gave him the space to really grow into his craft. In 2016, Trumain joined forces with J Stalin and began releasing music under Livewire Records. Since then, he has built a strong catalog of projects, each with its own unique vibe and style, showing how versatile he can be.
Trumain’s artistry is shaped by the influences of legends like Michael Jackson, 2Pac, Kendrick Lamar, and Chris Brown. Those inspirations can be felt in the emotion, storytelling, and rhythm that run through his songs. One of the most memorable moments of his career was booking Nipsey Hussle and witnessing him bring out YG, an experience that reminded Trumain of the power of music to create unforgettable moments.
