NEW ORLEANS, La. — Feb. 26, 2026 — TheRealBlackHeart Inc., an independent music brand based in New Orleans, Louisiana, is preparing to release its latest album, “Silent Mode,” on March 12. The project marks a continued evolution for Ken, the artist behind the brand, whose journey into music began with freestyle sessions among friends and has since grown into a focused creative pursuit.
Ken said his passion for music was sparked early on through informal freestyle sessions and smoke circles, where experimentation with different flows and styles became second nature.
“Freestyles with your friends, having smoke sessions and getting to show the different talents and flows around each other — learning from being young that your passion can’t be matched or touched — that’s what made me get into music,” Ken said. “It started as a hobby, doubled back and became something bigger. I wanted to push my music and see if I could make people feel that same ‘stick face’ I got from listening to music.”
Operating under BLACKHEART INC., Ken describes himself as a “chill guy” whose goal is to bring different sounds and flows to the forefront while staying grounded in personal growth and community impact.
One of his notable career milestones includes rebuilding his Instagram presence after his account was hacked — a setback he said strengthened his focus and discipline.
“I pushed my Instagram page again after getting hacked and kept a level mind to be where I’m at,” he said.
Time management has also been a challenge, which Ken addressed by creating structured routines to stay consistent with releases.
“The biggest problem I faced was time management,” he said. “So I keep a step-by-step alarm clock schedule to push me out of dropping songs so late.”
Looking ahead, Ken envisions expanding his reach while giving back to the New Orleans community.
“I want to see myself able to give back to the community and keep developing as a person with my brand as BLACKHEART INC., and forwarding music flows,” he said.
The upcoming album “Silent Mode” is intended to introduce a broader audience to his talent and creative direction. The project is set for release March 12.
Ken emphasized that authenticity remains central to his artistry.
“Music is about testing sounds, putting courage into it, and showing who you are,” he said.
“Silent Mode” will be available on streaming platforms upon release.
