"The Flood" is Re-writing Rap with Real Stories in their album "BPD (Borderline Powder Disorder)"

Who are “The Flood”?

A Rap duo coming out of Massachusetts consisting of Hundred Round Kado & Lazy Coca.

What inspired the album name?

We just brainstorm and keep everything under the guise of “Kokaine Gospel” which is our genre… but the sound itself is curated by Dallas Rose who Mixed, Mastered, and Engineered both projects. Alongside production from Dallas Rose we have WYDTAJ and Jamar Johnson who add the layers to what “The Flood” is… it’s a group effort nobody’s ideas are bigger than anyone else’s.

Who are the members?

Hundred Round Kado & Lazy Coca.

Who is your manager, and how did that come to be?

Wyclef Jean is our manager and he picked us up based off a reaction video that we did with SamBuckedUp, he said he wanted the group, and now we have “The Flood”. Working with an icon at his level really puts you in war mode at all times… he wants us recording 7 plus verses per song, he’s actually insane but we love the push and look forward to what the future brings.

We heard you’re gospel artists, explain that.

We tell the stories from the Bible but in modern times… We talk about our past struggles as being sinners… we referenced God as our “plug” alongside many other drug references that you have to listen very intently to understand. Not much of a niche but more of a testimony to our once chaotic lifestyles… we’re in our redemption phase.

How was working with Jaeson Ma & OpenWav?

Che Pope introduced us and since then Jaeson and the whole OpenWav team have been dope to work with knowing that this app puts money back in the Artists’ pockets, the exclusive AI dropshipping feature allows Artist’s access to custom merch they don’t have to pay for up front, as well as setting up your music at whatever price point you see fit. Pretty remarkable if you ask me.
