According to reports by TMZ, Tekashi 6ix9ine was granted compassionate release from prison and he will be able to serve the remainder of his 2-year sentence at home because he’s at high-risk during the coronavirus pandemic due to his asthma.
Tekashi was originally set to be released this August, and he will wear a GPS monitor to make sure he’s at an address he provided to the court.
He can only leave to seek medical treatment or to visit his probation officer, which must be approved by the Probation Department. Stay tuned for more updates.
