Lil West and Take a Daytrip are back at it again, Together they’ve crafted “Somedays,” a song that really speaks to the subject of emotional neglect – especially once the songs gets into 2nd gear and the compositional elements are spliced together.
While Lil West is seldom viewed as a grimacing character, his emotional side is perhaps the best facet of his musical repertoire.
And on that note, he rode that wave with Take a Daytrip and Russ Chell to end a productive 2018 – with a song called “Baller,” equal parts uplifting and emotionally stirring.
The Delaware-native is on the cusp of something big with his upcoming project, his relationship with duo Take a Daytrip already producing two EPs of note.
