Drake has surprised fans the world over with an early Christmas present: a new single, complete with a wintery music video.
On Tuesday (Dec. 24), the “Behind Barz” rapper released a new track called “War.” On the AXL Beats-produced song, the 6 God appears to have confirmed that he and The Weeknd have squashed their past differences and are on good terms now.
“And the boy that sound like he sang on Thriller/You know that’s been my nigga/Yeah, we just had to fix things/Family, 6 tings, we can’t split up,” the 6 God raps.
In the wintery video, directed by Theo Skudra, Dizzy showcases his icy flow while bundled up in his Lance Mackey parka and white Moncler puffer jacket. He and his OVO crew ride snowmobiles and hit the slopes for some nighttime skiing.
‘War’ appears late on the tracklist of the 50-minute ‘El-Kuumba Tape Vol. 1’, which was released on SoundCloud at midnight EST on Tuesday, December 24. Lil Uzi Vert’s latest song, ‘Futsal Shuffle 2020’, also appears on the release.
