Skepta’s “Pandora’s Box” examines the consequences of addiction as The Fork and Knife moves toward its November release.
Skepta has released “Pandora’s Box,” the second single from his forthcoming album The Fork and Knife. The track arrived on October 23, 2026, ahead of the album’s November 6 release through Big Smoke and Epic Records.
The song places difficult subject matter at the center of the rollout. As Sony Music’s release announcement outlines, Skepta addresses addiction and its consequences, bringing a reflective perspective to a project that connects rap with electronic and club influences.
Skepta produced the track, with additional production from David Dyson. TRENCH’s review highlights the contrast between its heavy drums and darker guitar textures, describing a musical setting that supports the seriousness of the story rather than distracting from it.
“Pandora’s Box” follows “Innocent Smile,” Skepta’s collaboration with Suggs and Chase & Status. He previewed both songs, alongside “Aloe Vera,” during his Reading Festival performance in August, giving the audience an early look at the material now reaching streaming services.
The official visualiser provides another way into the single while the full album remains forthcoming. At just under three minutes, the recording offers a focused introduction to this part of the project; listeners can also find it on Apple Music.
Provisional editorial assessment: 3.75/5. This research-based assessment recognizes the focused subject matter and the production’s reported fit with it, informed by TRENCH’s favorable review and the song’s inclusion in Rolling Stone UK’s October 23 new-music picks. It represents one editorial assessment, not a firsthand listening review or an average of reader votes.
