Shelby Rene Carter is an American recording artist who goes by the stage name “Shelby Carter”. Shelby was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was raised by her two loving parents. When Shelby Carter was young some of her interests included surfing, playing guitar, writing music and hiking. Her dream was to become a singer. She moved from place to place every year as a kid and went to 13 different schools due to her mother being a marine.
Shelby Carter stands 4 foot 11 inches and weights 105 pounds. She has blonde hair and aqua marine colored eyes. Shelby has lived in San Diego CA, Honolulu HI, Volcano HI, Virginia Beach VA, Carmel CA, Jacksonville NC, Los Angeles CA, Charlottesville NC, Pyeongtaek Korea throughout her life. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Shelby Carter almost finished college with a degree in biology & human health sciences. Shelby went to Hawaii Pacific University. Carter started first performing in Oahu Hawaii. Her job while going to college was being a bee keeper and doing gigs around Honolulu and Waikiki hotels and bars. She decided to drop out and move to LA to pursue her music career.
Shelby Carter’s first single was entitled “No Hesitation” released in 2022. Carter’s recent release “SAINT” has dropped and she is set to release a double single before the end of 2025 with singles entitled “Come to my show,” and “Something I can feel.”
Shelby Carter has worked with popular acts and brands such as Wifisfuneral, Saucito and Playboy. Shelby Carter’s biggest song to date is entitled “ON MY SLEEVE” Ft. Wifisfuneral. The record has surpassed 500,000 streams and was produced by Christopher Trujillo.
Shelby Carter has been performing in Los Angeles for multiple years, currently you can find her performing at venues such as the the “VIPER ROOM” and shows such as “Trap Rave” which have brought out thousands of attendees.
