San Francisco artist Kora shares her thoughts and plans on her upcoming album. Kora tells a story with this album, detailing when you are ready to leave a relationship behind but you are still in love. It’s an empowering collective of songs, and she hopes that it inspires other women like herself to live the life they desire and deserve. Her music stands out by having her own diverse sound and genre, with a flow that’s unrecognizable. Kora, being herself and unlike others has achieved a lot from this and keeps herself distinct.
Since the age of 13, Kora has been focused on a music career. She was in New Zealand at the time and returned there shortly after to pursue film acting and recording music through her teen years and into her early 20s. As time went by, Kora released her single “Pressure” featuring Stunnaman02 in 2022, alongside “Addicted” featuring Kalan.frfr. She performed singles from her upcoming album at Las Vegas convention center, New Music Mondays in Atlanta, & many more, planning to release that album in 2023.
Kora has had to overcome many challenges with her music career, like working on her upcoming album independently. While going through her biggest changes in life, she made this album with real feelings and emotions. She believes it will help other women to live the best life abundantly even if it means leaving something behind. She has so much planned for this year and nothing can stop her. In 2023, she plans to launch her own label “KORÈ” and wants to bring artists that don’t have resources or recognition they deserve to the spotlight. It took her long to put herself in a position where she wins in this industry, but she did. She believes there is a lot of talent in the world and it just needs to be found. She plans on bringing that talent to be seen, and eventually wants to go on her own tours around the world.
