Rod Wave has returned with Don’t Look Down, a sprawling new album that pairs his signature emotional songwriting with a major arena tour rollout.
Rod Wave’s Don’t Look Down album arrived Friday, August 28, 2026, via Alamo Records, marking his seventh full-length studio release and his first album since 2024’s Last Lap. The project follows a rollout that stretched from late 2025 into the summer, with Rod steadily previewing the record through singles, visuals and an elaborate album trailer.
The digital edition runs 24 tracks, while the physical CD and vinyl editions carry 20 songs. The streaming tracklist opens with “Summer Joy Intro” and includes “I Am,” “Piece Of Your Love,” “Hustle,” “Feed The Streets,” “Mainstay,” “War Wounds,” “TP,” “Florida Boy,” “Take Care” and closing track “Toast,” giving listeners a substantial new chapter in Rod’s catalog.
Three records helped establish the sound of the album before release. “Feed The Streets” first surfaced with a video in December 2025 before reaching streaming services, “Piece Of Your Love” followed in June, and “Hustle” arrived July 31 with an accompanying music video. Together, the singles continued Rod’s blend of melodic rap, soul-driven vocals and personal writing about ambition, relationships and the pressures surrounding success.
Rod formally announced the album through a cinematic, funeral-themed trailer produced through Mainstay Films. The campaign gave Don’t Look Down a more developed visual identity than a conventional album announcement, while the title itself reflects the idea of continuing to climb without becoming distracted or intimidated by the heights already reached.
The release is also tied to Rod Wave’s Don’t Look Down Tour, an arena run with Fridayy as support. The itinerary begins September 12 in Philadelphia and includes stops in Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Washington, Detroit, Brooklyn, Chicago, Orlando and other major markets before wrapping with multiple Atlanta dates in November.
Don’t Look Down arrives at an important point in Rod Wave’s run as one of melodic hip-hop’s most consistent album artists.
