Hailing from Queen, NY Terrencioo aims to create a platform to showcase new talented artists throughout all genres of music via his production company “Wats Poppin LLC”. By utilizing his A&R skills and ear for talent, he plans to shift the sounds of music and challenge the industry norms of what would be considered good music.
Terrencioo‘s new release “The Villains” featuring NXCRE & Prvnci is able to capture listeners with their mellifluous and melodic aura, but only a deeper listen will their lyrical mastery become apparent. They were able to toe the line between trap and feel-good songs, which makes the track a great listen whether it be in the morning, midday, or driving through the night with your windows down. Very few others are able to match what the NY artist can do seemingly naturally, and more is yet to come.
“The lyrical part (the rapper) was actually Prvnci .. My role was actually producing the actual beat itself with another producer named “Marvy” and curating the structure of the song. The single itself has a lot of moving pieces, but you can think of me as dj Khaled. I am more of a curator/producer. That’s what allowed me to find the actual artist to create the track.” – Terrencioo stated.
The kind of response his songs have received on digital streaming platforms has been encouraging, further boosting his confidence to be a better artist and work to his maximum potential. His songs have been doing exceedingly well on all digital music streaming platforms like Spotify, furthering his popularity as a music artist to the next level.
To date, the music that he has produced has connected well with the audiences, Terrencioo says that there is still a lot in store for the audience, which is just the beginning. He wants to do a lot more in this sphere and is working diligently towards achieving the same.
After years of promotion experience throughout some of the major venues throughout NYC Terrencioo was able to garner a community of people ranging from ages 20-30. As a promoter he was forced to focus on the middle class and upper class, because of high entry cost and premier bottle service clients. With his A&R skills Terrencioo was able to throw underground events to capture a more diverse crowd and accommodate his more artistic/turnup community.
