During an interview with Joe Budden this week, Nicki Minaj called out Rick Ross for disrespecting her on “Apple of My Eye.” “I told Meek I wouldn’t trust Nicki / Instead of beefin’ with your dog, you just give ’em some distance,” he rapped on the 2017 track.
Following her calling out Rozay on the Joe Budden Podcast for the lyric, he was on The Breakfast Club to talk about the new Port Of Miami II album, his new book and to respond to Nicki for what she had to say.
After being asked (around the 33:15 mark), Ross said that he found out that she wasn’t a keeper after they met Barack Obama. As he put it, she was playing a very fragile position when she was in between Drake and Meek Mill. At the end of the day, everyone moved forward so it is what it is.
