For more than three decades, Queen Jacene has been a powerful force behind the scenes of New York’s music and media culture. A producer, broadcast executive, talent manager, and cultural storyteller, Jacene’s career spans hip-hop, house music, radio broadcasting, and media production—helping connect generations of artists, creatives, and audiences.
Her journey began in the early 1990s promoting emerging hip-hop artists from Yonkers who would later become the legendary group The LOX. As hip-hop culture expanded nationally, Jacene gained valuable industry experience working in record promotions with Priority Records, Relativity Records, and Columbia Records, contributing to campaigns for artists such as Ice Cube, Master P, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Boot Camp Clik, and the Fugees.

In 2000, Jacene expanded her work into talent management and visual media, helping secure music video placements connected to productions directed by legendary directors Hype Williams and Little X. These projects included visuals for artists like Aaliyah, DMX, Sisqó, and Wyclef Jean, placing her directly within the creative engine of early 2000s music culture. She later collaborated with acclaimed casting director Winsome Sinclair, assisting with casting and creative development for film, television, and music video productions.
Her voice and leadership soon found a new platform in radio broadcasting. In 2004, Jacene joined the Future Flavas DJ network founded by hip-hop pioneer Marley Marl on Power 105.1, marking the beginning of her influential presence in radio. She later joined Golden Era Radio on WBLS and became a longtime voice personality on Roots NYC Live, appearing alongside house music icons Louie Vega and Kevin Hedge.
From 2021 to 2024, Jacene served as Executive Director of NyoobieZ Radio on SiriusXM’s Channel 142 HBCU Network, where she oversaw programming, show development, and production strategy—helping cultivate new voices in broadcasting while expanding the platform’s cultural reach.
Beyond radio and music, Jacene has also made meaningful contributions to theater and cultural production. In 2019, she served as stage producer for the award-winning theatrical production “The MisEducation of Ms. Freeman,” which received recognition on Broadway. In 2022, she was selected as a Creatives Rebuild New York grantee for her community-centered production work.
Her cultural impact was further recognized in 2025 when New York State Senator Cordell Cleare issued a proclamation honoring her contributions to arts and culture in New York.
Today, Queen Jacene continues to elevate artists, produce cultural programming, and amplify voices through her award-winning production company Multi Dimensional Media (MDM). Through media, storytelling, and artist development, she remains committed to preserving the legacy of New York’s music culture while helping shape its future.
