That’s what If You is about—questioning those relationships and asking why people didn’t step up when it mattered most. It was personal, and honestly, it was therapeutic to write and record.

Jay Q: For sure. I was feeling really abandoned at the time—not just by one person, but by multiple people I trusted. Then I had some loved ones pass away around the same time.
