Philadelphia rapper PnB Rock isn’t off to a good start this year.
PnB is behind bars after marijuana and a stolen gun were allegedly found in his home near Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon (Jan. 20).
According to ABC, police were called to the luxury townhouse the 27-year-old rapper was renting in Bensalem following “numerous complaints of loud parties and the constant smell of marijuana coming from the residence.” Investigators say they developed probable cause that Rock, born Rakim Hasheem Allen, was selling weed.
During a search of the home, authorities discovered four pounds of marijuana, scales, packaging material, over $33,000 in cash, and a stolen .40 caliber Glock handgun.
Allen was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of narcotics, receiving stolen property (for the stolen handgun), criminal conspiracy, and other related offenses.
Stephanie Sibounheuang, 27, who was also inside the home at the time of the search, was charged with possession of narcotics, receiving stolen property, and criminal conspiracy.
Both were arraigned and bail was set at 10 percent of $500,000. They were taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
PnB Rock had been quieter in 2018 than he was during his breakout year in 2017, although he did release his project Throwaways in November.
