Chronic ended 2023 with a bang and is starting 2024 with the same energy. Fresh off the release of his latest single “Think of You,” the Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania native is also a fashion designer too.
The man is the brains behind Solitude, a streetwear brand that, in Chronic’s own words, is “targeted for everybody.”
“Solitude is about unity and to remind people they are not alone in this world,” he said.
Solitude recently dropped the “Spider” Tee, and Chronic is working on a second drop too. On top of the fashion, he’s also an incredible musical talent, influenced by the likes of Drake, Kid Cudi and A$AP Rocky.
As for “Thinking of You” itself, Chronic dives deep into how he personally deals with heartbreak; more specifically, he chronicles how that process has changed.
“Whenever I felt down or sad, I would always go to drugs or alcohol so I could tolerate the pain,” he explained. “I always felt like a burden to others if I ever opened up around them.”
This explains why the track’s lyrics feel so raw, since they are from a man who doesn’t talk about these things very often. Not only will the listener absorb and understand Chronic’s coping mechanisms, they will also hear the story of someone who has grown tremendously.
Chronic’s peace of mind comes from giving fans near and far a piece of his mind. Whether it’s through music or fashion — or a potential hybrid of both — Chronic will influence the world in a positive way. It’s only up from here.
