PACMANTV Unleashes "The Big Darg" EP: A Powerful Ode to Rising from the Bottom Through Grit and Growth

The Big Darg EP, the latest hip-hop project from visionary director-turned-producer PACMANTV is out on the 26th September. This 6-track EP serves as a declaration of personal and artistic evolution, blending UK Drill with Real Rap to explore meaningful subjects.

The Big Darg EP embodies the journey of anyone who has started from the bottom, remained consistent, and defied the odds to claim their place at the top, to become a big darg. It signals growth, illustrating how persistence and hard work yield tangible results, ultimately positioning you among the elite. The project fuses sport and music, delivering feel-good hip-hop and UK rap infused with high energy, perfect for fueling gym workouts.

Building on the foundation of the previous Rehabilitation EP, which emphasized health, fitness, wanting more for oneself, and focusing on growth, this release continues that theme of self-improvement. The Big Darg EP features standout collaborations with artists who have achieved massive success in the UK music scene, including 38 x Alz with 90M views on Change, Billy Billions with Kitchen, Tight Road Baby with the Hotspot, and many more. As a compilation showcasing 8 emerging artists who are up next, the EP boasts production and engineering from talents like AOB, Flarez, and SVonthebeat.

PACMANTV’s The Big Darg EP is a masterclass in energy and intention. Across six tracks, he weaves together thunderous beats, sharp production, and striking collaborations that feel both polished and authentic. What makes this project stand out is the balance between raw street grit and an uplifting, motivational core — every song sounds like a victory anthem. The chemistry with featured artists is undeniable, while the production carries a fresh, athletic pulse that sets it apart from the typical UK rap offering. It’s not just a playlist for workouts; it’s a soundtrack for ambition, proving PACMANTV has successfully bridged his directorial vision with his musical instinct.

The recording process set this project apart: sessions began with gym workouts to maintain peak energy, followed directly by studio time, steering clear of typical late-night, alcohol-fueled environments. This disciplined approach infused the music with positivity and power. Every track carries a profound message, crafted to resonate, inspire, and aid listeners in healing and recovery, much like the transformative effects of training and sport.

In celebration of the release, special events include Nubia’s live performance with DJ AG on Wednesday, September 24, where she shares her inspiring journey: from starting with nothing and busking at King’s Cross with AG, to building strong support, a flourishing career, and earning two degrees. Her story underscores that if she could rise to become the big darg, anyone can.

PACMANTV started off as a music video director and with hard work and sacrifice quickly came up the ranks to become one of the leading UK directors filming hits for charting artists such as 38 x Alz Change with 90M streams or M24 We don’t dance with over 45M streams. Through working closely with artists and developing relationships this led PACMANTV to produce and manage projects with several artists such as Yxng Bane, Country Dons, Headie One, Kairo Keyz to list a few. Leading to an array of successful releases and the charting success of the freestyle show the Hotspot which still pulls in large numbers today. “The music we produce is mainly UK hip-hop and UK Drill with a sprinkle of trap-wave music.” The story behind the name PACMANTV comes from the artist packing big things and not being scared to let this be known, they work hard and are coming for the top spot. One of our most notable moments of their career so far would be touring the country from festival to festival with M24, performing their hit single Honey We Don’t Dance. “It was exciting to see our vision come to life and fans all over the country support our music, especially when just a month before the release M24 felt that his music career was being stunted by police and was prepared to give up.”
