OTW by Vans is set to release the Old Skool 36 Pearlized collection, reimagining the iconic Style 36, Vans’ second-ever skate shoe that debuted in 1977 and later became known as the Old Skool.
The OTW Old Skool 36 Pearlized showcases a distressed and greased suede upper adorned with pearl and crystal embellishments. This design evokes the charm of a well-loved shoe that has been customized and repaired over time, reflecting a journey through various destinations. The collection’s standout features include a higher glossed sidewall and intricate stitching details.
Staying true to the Vans Premium philosophy, the new collection emphasizes modern comfort, premium materials and an updated form. The shoes maintain the classic Old Skool silhouette while incorporating the iconic Sidestripe, which first appeared on the original Style 36.
