Recently the rap game has received a fresh wave of hot new talent. From artists like Bossman Dlow to Sexxy Red; the hip hop community has been on the come up! One artist who sticks out from the competition is Texas artist Naybahood Snoop. After going viral for his hard hitting Famous Animal TV performance; Naybahood Snoop has become the topic of conversation for many music fans.
Originally from Orange, “Fruit City” Texas, Snoop learned a lot while still very young. According to Naybahood Snoop, “Coming up in the beginning was a little tough, as time passed it got better.” Born to a young single mother was rough for Snoop, he had to witness his mother get incarcerated twice and struggle to provide.
According to Snoop, he grew very close to his great grandmother after his mother’s first time being incarcerated. “She came home and got back on her feet, but ended up serving a longer sentence the next time”, Naybahood Snoop explains.
During the second incarceration, Snoop moved in with his grandmother. Around this time he started to venture into different paths of life. His mother was in jail and his father was serving a 15 year sentence. This was an environment that could’ve easily made young Naybahood Snoop give up, but he didn’t.
Aside from having parents that were incarcerated, he had other issues. Young Snoop was growing up in a rough neighborhood of Birdie Reed Projects. Naybahood Snoop would begin to grow a strong passion for music, this passion has been with him ever since.
Currently, Naybahood Snoop is promoting his track “No Excuses“ due to it being the most trending, he seeks to “motivate people that he feels is just like him, from men to women who have yet to figure out the route they want to take in life. “All you have to do is put your mind to it”.
He’s also promoting his single “UPS” which feature a fire music video! Snoop’s plans for the future is to one day own his own label and be the hottest artist in the music game. Without question, Naybahood Snoop is someone to look out for!
