Nicki Minaj lives up to her “Queen” moniker.
When Nicki Minaj calls herself the “Queen,” many assume that the Young Money rapper is merely asserting her dominance over the rap game. Yet in order for one to convincingly deem themselves royalty, one must act accordingly, in a manner far beyond hip-hop skill.
In that regard, Nicki Minaj has recently lived up to her self-proclaimed title, coming through to bless hundreds of Queens families with Thanksgiving turkeys. Reports indicate that Minaj linked up with the NYPD for the event, which took place in her home borough.
In a photo shared by the NYPD’s 113th Precinct, Minaj can be seen alongside the Commanding Officer, who may or may not be vying for a managerial position. Behind them, all manner of fans capture the moment.

The precinct weighed in with further kindness, writing “Who says rappers don’t give back to the neighborhood they come from?” Nicki returned the love, thanking the NYPD for holding down the event.
Below are several photographs from the event, which reveal Nicki breaking bread with the people, posing for pictures and enjoying her homecoming. Respect to Nicki for this one, and thanks to her, families will be able to indulge in some tried and true Thanksgiving gluttony.
