Nayan Raina has released the single “Phone,” a love song duet he recorded with Singer Mickey Shiloh. The music review website All Hip Hop calls it an anthem to “soothe your mind, body, and soul.”
With 51K listens and climbing on SoundCloud, the song is attracting more and more listeners to his sweet singing style that sounds like honey. The song speaks to being in love with someone and how it feels to have a phone conversation with them.
“It comes from my heart. If you have ever been in love, then you know the feeling when the phone rings and it is that special someone. It can make your whole day,” he said.
The decision to pair with Mickey Shiloh was easy enough for the musician.
“I love her voice, I love her style. It is the perfect compliment to what I wanted in this song. You have heard some people just make beautiful music together and that is definitely what happened here,” he said.
With the success of “Phone,” is another collaboration likely? Raina says he is certainly open to that if Shiloh is. If it happens, and he hopes it will, it will have to be another perfect moment of lyrics and instruments for the pair.
All Hip Hop adds, “The bass and drums are so artistically composed that they fit their voices so perfectly. The skills of both the vocalists in this composition have ensured that listeners don’t miss a beat when the going back and forth between them begins. You just can’t get enough of this song!”
The song is getting radio play and is expected to draw in more listeners and commercial station play. Listen to the song on Spotify and ask your local station to play it.
