MMUPCLAN, also known as Monster Mashup Clan, is a new collective of artists in the Los Angeles area. They are aiming to bring a new style of music to listeners across the globe. As a group, they constantly deal with the tall task of managing each other’s egos, but handle that task with ease, as every member of the group knows their role and what is expected of them every day throughout the production of their material. They have been wildly successful already, traveling to different states and countries to play their music for their listeners.
Every member of the group comes from different backgrounds and origins. FACEvsIT started writing poems that turned into raps, Barlosgotbars began freestyle rapping at parties in high school, Shneaky rapped and played trumpet in a band, later DJing parties, and Sesh came into hip hop from the Ska scene and also lead a reggae/cumbia band. The group takes its inspiration from Cypress Hill, Wutang Clan, Run DMC, NWA, and Beastie Boys.
MMUPCLAN is a busy group every single day. They are nonstop working from sunup to sundown working to hone their collective and individual crafts. They do podcast streams, record their own music as well as group content, and schedule events that promote their artists and their group as a whole to spread the word to the world about who they are and what they do.
