These features have sparked conversations about the possibility of a fresh and exciting sound coming out of the Midwest, with Afro Preachah at the forefront of this movement.
One of the most notable projects that Afro Preachah is a part of is “Spit or Quit.”
Spit or Quit is a 2 part project set to be released August 8 and September 8. Originally conceived as a collaboration between 50 emcees with three tracks to choose from, the project eventually expanded to include 100 emcees, keeping the legacy of DJ K Slay and The Street Sweepers alive. Out of 100 emcees, one was chosen from Minnesota and that was Afro Preachah. Afro Preachah’s inclusion in this project is a testament to his exceptional skills and the recognition he has earned within the hip-hop community.
Sources reveal that Van Silk, the head of the project, was particularly impressed by Afro Preachah’s video submission linked by Real Deal Entertainment. Van Silk recognized Afro’s unique talent and original style, acknowledging that he had raised the bar for the project. This endorsement from Van Silk further solidified Afro Preachah’s position as a rising star in hip-hop.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Spit or Quit, as it promises to showcase Afro Preachah’s skills alongside other talented emcees like Ice T, Chuck D and other notables like Raheim from Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5 to DaNYa The OG. If his previous work is any indication, Afro Preachah is sure to deliver a captivating performance that will leave an unforgettable mark on the hip-hop scene.
Afro Preachah’s journey is only beginning, but it’s clear that he is solidifying himself as a major force in the music industry.
