Chicago-based rapper and label head Megastar (real name Steven Ragsdale) is starting 2025 with undeniable heat, dropping his latest project Loud Money Gang on January 24. Featuring a lineup of rising underground voices from the city, the project brings sharp lyricism, real-life stories, and street energy under one unified vision.

What makes this release even more significant is Megastar’s new partnership with Empire Distribution, a major milestone that will amplify both his career and the artists under his imprint. With Empire’s backing, Loud Money Gang has the firepower and reach to take Chicago’s independent scene global.

The project is stacked with standout tracks, including “No Doubt” featuring Jefa, “WYA” with Roel Da G, and the gritty anthem “Married to the Game” featuring Ace thaDon. These singles showcase the diversity of the label’s sound—from calculated ambition to unshakable loyalty, all wrapped in bold production and unfiltered lyrics.

Megastar describes Loud Money Gang as more than just a tape—it’s a movement. “We’re showing the world what independent artists from Chicago are really about,” he says. “This isn’t just music—it’s the real life behind it.”

Drawing comparisons to legends like Rick Ross, Jeezy, and Pusha T, Megastar stands firmly on his own lane, delivering consistent music rooted in reality, hustle, and heart.
