Born and raised in a small town in Central Pennsylvania, 25 year old music artist “Zimm” rose to notoriety in 2017 by posting original music to YouTube resulting in several viral videos gaining over 103k subscribers and 10 million total views in only one year.
After seeing success on YouTube, Zimm began to commercially release music in April of 2017. Most notable is his success on Spotify, seeing half a million unique listeners and over 5 million streams in his first year of releasing music.
Zimm was introduced to music at an early age influenced by a variety of different genres such as classic rock, hip hop, and rap. Zimm began playing guitar and writing music at around the age of 9 and started to write hip hop music around the age of 12.
He is most known for his song “Haunted” in which he details his struggles with depression and mental illness, opening up about things he battled with in silence for years. Zimm is open about his struggles with mental health in hopes to spread awareness and one of his main goals as an artist is to shed light on mental illness.
