The South Florida rapper turned his Halloween concert into a shared stage for collaborators across rap and R&B.

Loe Shimmy hosted the inaugural Zombieland at Miramar Amphitheater in Florida on October 31, with BigXthaPlug, Sexyy Red, Rob49 and Brent Faiyaz joining the lineup. The concert combined music with a haunted house and costume contest.

iHeart’s account reports that Shimmy opened in a zombie mask before welcoming the guests. BigXthaPlug performed “Mmhmm,” “Levels” and “The Largest,” and the two shared the stage following the release of “I Like It.”

That collaboration appears on Better Over Time, BigXthaPlug’s album released the day before the show. The Miramar appearance brought the record’s newest partnership into a live setting almost immediately.

Sexyy Red appeared dressed as Mystique and performed material including her Shimmy collaboration “5 Star Freak” and her own “Get It Sexyy,” according to iHeart. Rob49 followed with their joint track “I Need Us” among his selections.

Brent Faiyaz joined Shimmy to close the show, performing the chorus of “For Me” and sharing “Run The World.” The collaborations gave the final portion of the night a different sound from the earlier rap-heavy sets.

The venue described Zombieland as the beginning of Shimmy’s plan for a signature annual Halloween event. This first edition paired that ambition with a costume competition and a lineup rooted in artists already connected to his music.
