One of these passionate and music-loving artists is Lior Poly. Lior fell in love with instruments, rhythms, and tunes at a very young age. He shares that the earliest memories of his childhood include music and melodies. He was raised by his mother, who loved music with all her heart. Unfortunately, she was never able to pursue it due to her many responsibilities but always practiced it as a hobby.
Lior was greatly inspired by his mother and has been creating music since the age of 16. He learned to play the violin and guitar, which his mom taught him how to play. Lior’s love for music is very natural, which is why his creations impress people right away. Many have told him that he manages to create it effortlessly. However, he has always been his own biggest critic and always aspires to do better at creating songs people will love.
After exploring different genres of music and learning various instruments, he finally understood that his heart always wanted to create independent music. He feels that the best form of art is created autonomously. His friends and family didn’t understand his decision at first as they thought he might be staunching his growth. But his do-it-yourself approach worked. Lior makes music as a passion, which is why he’s not attracted to big labels.
In 2020, he launched his first album on Apple Music and Spotify. The album consisted of 6 songs, and the response he received was remarkable. Listeners jammed to his songs hundreds and thousands of times. Many shared and liked them via social media as well. The response was applaudable for a 20-year-old independent artist. Along with working on his music, Lior also focused on marketing his work, making his tracks even bigger hits.
He believes that the biggest challenge he has faced so far has been his fear of incompetence. Whenever a setback or hurdle came, he would question himself a lot. This mindset cost him his mental peace and also affected his self-esteem. But one day, he decided that he would have to believe in himself more than he did then to pursue his passion. From then onwards, he never looked back and believed in his work more than anyone else could.
Lior has been consistently working hard to achieve his dreams. He knows that anyone who chooses to believe in themselves will be able to make it in life, which is why he never gave up, and neither should you.
