Kuzma also talks his favorite Jordans and picks up some heat.
The Los Angeles Lakers‘ power forward Kyle Kuzma is the latest guest on Complex’s Sneaker Shopping series, stopping by Los Angeles’ Flight Club outpost to pick up some new kicks and talk sneaker habits. Kuzma opens up about his favorite Jordan models and balling in the Nike Adapt BB.
Though several Jordan models will always have a special place in Kuzma’s heart — specifically the 4, 7 and 10 — none can top the original. “I don’t even know how many I have,” Kuzma admits, calling out the Chicagos in particular. Kuzma also opens up about impressing LeBron with his sneaker selection, recalling one specific instance in which Kuzma elicited a double-take from the basketball star.
“I’ve worn a super-rare shoe by him,” Kuzma exclaims. “It was a 2003 shoe, his actual shoe he wore during pre-season. I walked in, got on the bus and he keeps looking at me like this,” he continues, pantomiming LeBron’s reaction. Later, Kuzma explains his groundbreaking GOAT partnership and scoops some special kicks, including the Sean Wotherspoon Air Max 1/97 and Fear of God Raid.
