Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their fourth child Psalm West.
Taking to social media, The 38-year-old mother announced the couple’s fourth child Psalm West and shared the first photo of their newborn son, who is pictured sleeping in a bassinet.
Kim shared a photo of Psalm via text from Kanye writing “Beautiful Mother’s Day With the arrival of our fourth child We are blessed beyond measure We have everything we need”.
The words were accompanied by a picture of the newborn baby, with the caption simply reading “Psalm West”.
Psalm was born via surrogate on Thursday, May 9. He weighed in at 6 lbs. and 9 oz. Kim announced his arrival on Twitter, writing, “He’s here and he’s perfect!”
According to his mother, the baby resembles his sister Chicago. “He’s also Chicago’s twin lol I’m sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her,” added Kim.

To settle any confusion, the ‘P’ in Psalm is traditionally silent, so it is said ‘Saam’. A psalm is a type of hymn used in Christian or Jewish worship, referring to the Book of Psalms in the Bible.
But, as with their other unique styles and tastes, perhaps the Kardashian-West family will decide it’s said differently!
The biblical name, which means a sacred song or hymn, was likely inspired by Kanye’s spiritual path and his Sunday Service, which he brought to Coachella on Easter Sunday.
