K. Neal, known online as Not.kbxy, is an emerging artist from Albany, Georgia who is steadily making his mark in the music world. His passion for music started early but it was not until his junior year of high school, when he joined chorus, that he fully realized the depth of his talent. That step opened the door to a creative journey that has quickly taken him from being just another kid in school to an upcoming rapper in Atlanta.
Although his roots are in Hip Hop and R&B, K. Neal is already thinking long term and plans to lean more toward Pop as his career continues to grow. His influences include Travis Scott, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, and of course, himself. While piano for chorus was his only formal instrument, his voice and lyrical creativity have become the true instruments driving his sound.
In only a year of making music, K. Neal has seen his life change drastically. He has already released two EPs and two albums. His most recent project, titled AFTERMATH, dives into deep themes of self reflection, personal growth, and lessons from past relationships. It shows his evolution not only as an artist but also as a person learning his own worth. Before that came his EP Frozen Anthems, which captured the raw emotions he experienced after a breakup. His earlier works, including the album VAMPLANTA and his debut EP Son of Dracula, served as introductions to his identity and his artistry.
One of his most memorable experiences so far came when he performed his track LIFESTYLE in front of his entire school. The nerves were heavy at first, but looking back he is grateful for taking that leap, as it showed him the excitement and power of connecting with an audience.
Now, K. Neal is working on his third album and preparing to release new singles in the months ahead. One of them will return to his Hip Hop roots while the other will showcase his first R&B release, a sign that he is ready to expand his range even further. While live performances are not locked in just yet, he is steadily building toward the next stage of his career.
K. Neal’s story is still being written, but his rapid growth shows that he is serious about leaving a lasting impact. From Albany to Atlanta and beyond, he is finding his place in music while staying true to his journey of discovery and expression.
