J. Cole speaks current state Hip-Hop, as the King of the Ville holds a conversation with his fellow member of the Rocafella team. In one of the most important conversations on Kevin Hart’s Hart to Heart series with Peacock, J. Cole is the next guest.
In the conversation, Cole reflects on his life, career and vulnerable fears of going broke again – which keeps him motivated. However, what caught the attention of the masses was Jermaine addressing the state of hip-hop, which shocked many.
Like us, Cole is a fan of the large female takeover in hip-hop music, as he even said it seemed like he was pandering to women. However, that wasn’t the case for him, as he recently collaborated with BIA last year on LONDON, which we believe reignited his pen for the next major album as arguably the best in the game.
Take a look at the conversation below.
J. Cole speaks on the current state of Rap:
"I hate to say it, almost because it sounds like pandering but I really do think like man it’s a lot of fire female rappers." pic.twitter.com/fwIda7D4ZS
