Moibanda “Moibandaa” Rogers is an upcoming English Hip-Hop artist and songwriter that is gaining popularity very quickly, and on his way to becoming a superstar. Born and raised in Leicester, England, the 24-year-old artist has quickly accumulated thousands of followers on social media and is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
He credits this success to his life experience, hard work, and consistency for where he is today. Growing up music was always something he loved, but he also loved soccer and fashion. He recalls listening to music both on his way to practice and before games. While simultaneously trying to find creative ways to be stylish before and after games. This was his way of trying to make all three work together.
Rogers tells us that, “it hasn’t been easy getting to where I am today. I am blessed to be in the position that I am in currently and I am grateful for it. There were a lot of late nights mixed with early days, and some nights I wouldn’t even get to sleep because I would get home late from the studio and also have to do homework, and/or study for exams.
This caused a lot of frustration, and I quickly realized that sacrifices were necessary if I wanted to make it and be successful. At first, I was judged by a lot of people, but now that I’m getting somewhere people think I’ve just got lucky, but that is far from it.” The work Moibandaa has put in has definitely paid off, and now the question people are wondering is, what’s next?
We sat down with him and asked him what he was planning on doing next. He told us that, “there are a lot of things coming down the pipeline, I’m appreciative of where I am, and the opportunity that I’ve been blessed with but I can’t settle. I would love to share my every move and plan but some things are better left unsaid. The most important thing is that I stay humble and continue to put in the work because it’s just the beginning. I’m hungry for success and dedicated to improving. There is so much more I want to do, and I think fans will enjoy my next plan.” We wish Moibandaa the best of luck in his journey, and I won’t be surprised when I see him on billboards and magazines worldwide.
