Ice Spice and Lil Yachty Join Forces in Surreal “Out My Face” Video

Ice Spice and Lil Yachty have linked up for “Out My Face (My Baby),” pairing a two-part rap collaboration with an equally unpredictable new visual.

Ice Spice and Lil Yachty’s “Out My Face (My Baby)” arrived August 28 via 10K Projects/Capitol Records, giving the two rappers a shared track built around a dramatic mid-song switch. The release is accompanied by an official music video that mirrors the record’s split structure and puts both artists at the center of distinct visual worlds.

The first half belongs largely to Ice Spice, who moves through a run of surreal setups while delivering her verse over the track’s harder opening production. The imagery includes a boardwalk-style face-in-the-hole display, masks modeled after the Bronx rapper and a scene in which she appears with a pregnancy belly as part of the video’s concept.

Once the beat changes, the video moves into a dimly lit diner and Lil Yachty takes over the record’s second stretch. The shift in sound is matched by a complete change in setting and mood, turning the collaboration into something closer to two connected videos than a conventional performance clip.

The visual was directed by AMD and Little Miles, Lil Yachty’s directing alias, and features appearances from Gio, Karrahboo, Concrete Boys and Che Mario. As Complex reported, the contrasting halves give Ice Spice room for a rapid opening performance before Yachty enters over the slower second beat.

“Out My Face (My Baby)” also extends Ice Spice’s recent run of releases following songs including “Big Guy,” created for The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, and her Tokischa collaboration “Thootie.” The new Lil Yachty collaboration keeps her momentum centered on new music while adding another high-profile pairing to her catalog.

For Lil Yachty, the release follows a stretch of collaborative work that has kept him active outside his solo album cycle. His last full-length solo project was 2023’s Let’s Start Here., while he later teamed with James Blake for the joint album Bad Cameo and has continued releasing music with other artists.
