HBO Unleashes Intense New ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Trailer Ahead of April Premiere

HBO has officially ignited anticipation by dropping a powerful new trailer for the long-awaited third season of Euphoria, the cultural phenomenon created by Sam Levinson.

The three-minute cinematic preview delivers a bold and revealing glimpse into the future of its complex characters, jumping five years ahead of the events from season two and signaling a darker, more evolved chapter in the series.

At the center of it all is Zendaya’s Rue, whose journey takes a gripping and dangerous turn. Now involved in transporting drugs from Mexico into the United States, Rue finds herself in escalating danger, ultimately being stopped and detained by the FBI, setting the tone for a season filled with high stakes and consequences.

Meanwhile, Nate (Jacob Elordi) steps into a new role of power, taking over his father Cal’s construction business following his absence. Despite this outward control, his personal life spirals into what appears to be a violent and emotionally unstable path. His now-wife Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) is navigating her own transformation, working as a cam girl while attempting to rebuild her fractured relationship with former best friend Maddy (Alexa Demie), who has found her footing working in Hollywood.

The trailer also shines a light on Lexi (Maude Apatow), who is stepping confidently into her creative future as a writer in Hollywood, working under a showrunner portrayed by Sharon Stone. At the same time, Jules (Hunter Schafer) is embracing her artistic side, attending school and supporting herself as a sugar baby. In a moment sure to spark conversation, the trailer teases a season one callback, including a reunion scene involving her and Cal that hints at unresolved tensions.

Season three expands its already impressive ensemble with new series regulars Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Toby Wallace, while notable returning guest stars include Colman Domingo, Nika King, Alanna Ubach, Sophia Rose Wilson, Melvin “Bonez” Estes, Daeg Faerch, Paula Marshall, Zak Steiner, and Marsha Gambles.

Adding even more star power, the upcoming season welcomes an extensive lineup of guest appearances, including Sharon Stone, ROSALÍA, Danielle Deadwyler, Marshawn Lynch, Natasha Lyonne, Eli Roth, Kadeem Hardison, Sam Trammell, Trisha Paytas, Vinnie Hacker, alongside Anna Van Patten, Asante Blackk, Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Christopher Ammanuel, Christopher Grove, Colleen Camp, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, James Landry Hébert, Jeff Wahlberg, Jessica Blair Herman, Justin Sintic, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Meredith Mickelson, Priscilla Delgado, Rebecca Pidgeon, Smilez, Tyler Lawrence Gray, and more.

With its expanded timeline, elevated intensity, and deeply layered character arcs, season three is shaping up to push the boundaries of storytelling even further, delivering the raw emotion, chaos, and cinematic depth that has made Euphoria a global standout.

“Euphoria” Season 3 premieres April 12.
