At this point, I don’t know what can be said about Haan that hasn’t been readily covered in full. Simply put, he is not only a fast-rising producer but he’s also shifting hiphop culture right now, and fans’ admiration for his music only heightens every time he drops something new. It has honestly been so much fun watching his rise to fame because he went from a super unique teenager who was fighting to find a place in the music world to an absolute trendsetter and icon with a following that’s more loyal than pretty much any of your favourites producers out right now.
His style is unique, even when compared to some of the other trailblazers in the modern pop-trap world, and he has seemed to fully grasp his strengths as time has passed, ensuring that every song will be a banger, even though I believe they always have been from the jump. I have zero clue how the young phenom manages to juggle life with tours and constant musical output, but in all honesty, I won’t ask questions as long as his drops sound even half as good as his recent production work.
Haan is only 19 years old, but he’s one of the few Australian hip-hop producers to make it to the American music scene. His father, who produced and performed instruments as a hobby, introduced him to music at a young age. When Haan was eight years old, he began playing the guitar and keyboard, accompanying himself to songs on the radio such as the Fugees’ “Killing Me Softly.”
Throughout his career, he has even accumulated countless nods and co-signs from other artists and publications, all of which have helped highlight his very unique and awe-inspiring skillset. Although cohesive projects haven’t been as readily available over the past couple of years, that doesn’t mean that Haan is taking it easy, because his streaming catalogue and production efforts continue to shine and speak for themself.
