What’s your artist name and where are you from?
What’s good I go by K Pi$tol K space P I $ you don’t use a $ you won’t find I’m on all platforms. And I’m from Buffalo, NY born & raised. Despite what y’all heard it aint no cows there no farms! It’s really a city ain’t the biggest but it’s the town that’s what we call it.
Why do you love music?
I ain’t gone lie my whole family really was into music, my older brother actually had a big situation going on before went to jail. Free J Batters look him up when you get a chance bro too hard I ain’t gone lie. So I kind of just leaned towards it young. I still remember making my first lil rap when I was probably like 6 or 7. All of my big brothers and cousins used to rap too I guess it’s just in my blood.
What makes you different as a music artist?
Honestly everything! I’m me, you won’t hear anything close to my style because I don’t really have a set style if that makes sense. I’m like a chameleon when it comes to music I can just kind of like adapt to vibes and beats, some songs won’t even sound like the same person. I think it’s kind of like a gift and a curse at the same time.Some people will hear one sound and just expect that same sound they liked but I might not feel like that again for a while so it would probably throw them off. On the other hand I still get people who just want to hear me breathe on a track so it kind of balances out.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Man, hopefully I’m just at peace somewhere, and by at peace I just mean like all of my family andloved ones are straight and situated. Like I don’t know if you ever been to Buffalo but it ain’t much to be excited about I want to bring the light to my city and show all the young homies it’s possible. I mean hopefully this all fall into place a little sooner than 5 years but I ain’t tripping it’s all about timing. Oh & aside from that I’ll most likely be top 5 rapper dead or alive by then.
What do you want to accomplish in life?
A lot to be honest with you, I wake up everyday with new goals that just pop up out of nowhere. But I’ll say my main focus right now is just better living for me and my family. I’m really a firm believer in becoming a product of your environment, if everybody you look up to was selling drugs nine times out of ten you gone try it out too. I just want to give the youngins another option that’s all.
What do you bring to the music world?
I’m really bringing back what it’s missing. I listen to a lot of different artists & different styles and some songs you can just tell they ain’t put enough effort in the bars but the beat is super fire. Or sometimes the lyrics be on point but the beat selection be terrible. I honestly think I don’t miss and if I do miss the song won’t be released. I’m like a realist I keep it real with myself I take pride in my music and at the same time I’m speaking my life. Almost every bar I got a homie who can vouch for what I’m saying. I’m telling you once everybody finally catch on they gone love me!”
What do you want to be remembered by?
I already told you top 5 dead or alive but for real for real I want to be the one to change my son’s kids life you feel me. I just want to be that x factor, that change. Like don’t get me wrong I got family getting money and having motion but this a be a different scale for all of us if I pull this off.
