Why do you love music?
Music is more than just a passion for me, music is both an escape and a way of life. From an early age, I discovered how powerful music is in regards to influencing my mood, thoughts, and mind. Whenever I hear music, it invokes a feeling of security and confidence that I have struggled to find elsewhere. The fact that different types of sounds in music can result in varying results for different listeners is fascinating to me. It has been a dream of mine to be a recording artist since my youth and I draw a lot of my inspiration from the likenesses of Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti who I was blessed to see progress in their journey as artists.
What makes you different as a music artist?
What sets me apart from other recording music artists is my relentless drive and hunger to reach the top. An important aspect of being an artist is searching throughout the realms of creativity in order to create a unique distinction from other artists. The last thing I want to accomplish is being labeled as a knock-off of another artist, so creating my own sound and vibe are of extreme importance to me. Most importantly, my passion for music comes first always so no matter how popular or far my career may take off, my first priority is maintaining the creative efforts I put into my sound and creating quality music.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Five years from now, I hope to have a recognizable name in the music industry and to be known as an individual who is connected with my fans. I understand that as an artist, there is no career without interacting with the people who support your music and stream it regularly. I want my fans to know that their best interest is in my heart and I want my actions as an artist to reflect that.
What do you want to accomplish in life?
Musically, some of the biggest accomplishments I hope to achieve include performing at a sold-out show, using my platform to spread health and wealth to others, and making a difference in the lives of my listeners. Apart from music, I have an obsession with bodybuilding and athletics and I am currently preparing for my Division One football tryout for the University of Maryland Terps. Life is so short, so I plan on using my time on earth to spread positivity and meaning to others instead of wasting my skills on foolish endeavors.
What do you bring to the music world?
I believe I bring my own unique sound and style to the music world. As an artist, many can find it difficult to stray past that fine line behind drawing inspiration from their favorite artists and downright copying their own style. I believe my music does very well at drawing inspiration from others while also maintaining key unique aspects as well. In addition to a unique sound, I believe my music is good at relating to the personal aspects of my listeners and setting a specific emotion depending on how they are feeling.
What do you want to be remembered by?
I want to leave a legacy on earth that will carry on beyond death. I want to be remembered as someone who made a difference with their music and used their platform to better this world, not break it down. I also want to make my parents proud and hope to accomplish great things. Most importantly, I hope to leave the greatest impact on others within my community and only give them reasons to speak highly of me. Music is my destiny, so every day I ensure I am fulfilling my destiny.
