Get Familiar With Rapper D3Thegasman and His Music

“My sound is versatile — I harmonize, I can give you bars … there’s not a sound I’m intimidated by,” D3 says. “I’m extremely confident about the craft so whenever a new style presents itself, I study and put my own twist to it.”

From time, authentic street rap has been the soundtrack to the streets; Much of it emblematic of what takes place in the burroughs and neighborhoods of where it comes from. It could depict the daily soirees of the artists, the cultures of the community they’re based, and theoretically the unique tales you will never necessarily see or experience unless you are actually there.

Specifically for act, D3Thegasman, he is an avid artist that basks in the glory of coming up in neighborhood through his music. He sensitizes listeners through his craft – to put it short, he’s a storyteller that can rap his ass off.

“My artist name came from me rapping and everyone be like D3 you gassin” he mentions – “My name from 83Gangsta a notorious historic original Crip set from South Central Los Angeles” he shares of his roots and name origins.

One particular characteristic about D3 is that despite his associations and involvements in the diabolic street life, this doesn’t dull his attention to music. He has been actively putting out quality music since 2018, with the most notable track “83GC The Real” one of the most introspective rap ballads you will come by in a hot minute – where he moots about being a gang member in the most vulnerable ways as he strips back each and every part of him and just gets soulful with it.

He confronts his demons talking about the repercussions some of his peers have encountered dancing with their mortality in the streets, police brutality, gun violence, systemic injustice, snitch culture with the track mightily abundant of poetic justice.

“Music is in my veins, I’ve been doing it since a kid” he states – “I study the greats Nas, Jay Z, Wayne, Future, Kanye, T.I, Jeezy, Meek, Kendrick, Cole, Pusha, Ross and mainly artists that can be versatile meaning they can give you real rap but still create singles from their craft” he expounds.

With a choking thirst to study greatness, it’s always hard to fail – and this principle is one D3 is already earnest of. As he studies them, we are studying him and his Instagram already intimates he is in a place of content with his first full LP and second project seemingly complete and ready for our devour.

“Album done. Diamond in the rough coming soon. It’s fire no cap” he wrote on his Instagram stories. “I touched everything down south, drill shit, West Coast, Mid west, harmonizing, bars, I’m really an artist and not no rapper,” he revealed.

Check out some of his music below & stay tuned with what he has coming next.
