Making waves across the independent scene, the group look set to break through with their forthcoming EP ‘Ladi Dadi III’, as they unveil first teaser single ‘All Good Things’
Leaning into a soulful sonic euphoria, ‘All Good Things’ propels itself with a mesmerising charm, fuelled by its distinctive trip-hop glow. Combining a distinctive vocal delivery with a sleek production style, the single looks set to further cement the duo’s reputation as fast-rising independent stars. Featuring sticky melodies alongside atmospheric synthesisers, the track arrives with a nostalgic energy, taking its hat off to the nineties, whilst floating across the airwaves with a contemporary finesse.
Commenting on the single, Frizzy P dives in, “Carried by hypnotic beats and an almost magical nighttime vibe, the track explores introspection, solitude, and personal liberation. I chose to unveil raw emotions, shifting in between nights of excess and poignant confrontations with my vulnerabilities. At the same time, I crafted an immersive sonic atmosphere, blending dark rhythms with airy melodies.”
Frizzy P & Mr Cole are a powerful trip-hop duo with an authentic, analogue soul. Formed in 2015, in the Paris suburbs, lead singer Frizzy P arrives in the limelight shaped by her Anglo-French dual culture, whilst Mr Cole tirelessly crafts organic, effortless samples to produce a musical venture more than the sum of their parts.
Debuting in 2017 with their EP ‘Ladi Dadi’, the duo quickly garnered the attention of BBC 6 Music as well as Nova and FIP. Amassing millions of streams on Spotify, the outfit ventured into their sonic intensities, with their growing fanbase growing stronger from project to project.
