It’s an admirable move for VINC to channel sheer aggression while at the same time giving his listeners a viable outlet for theirs. The new wave of rap may be all about violence and Kanye stalking his ex; VINC is a refreshing exception to that insidious trend of artists rapping about their arsenal and XANAX addiction.
“Work Out” follows up “Born Epic” which dropped last year and is widely hailed as one of the best songs of early 2021. While “Work Out” captured FIFTY VINC’s melody-making abilities, the new joint “Work Out” finds VINC back on his knocking drums, a sound that he is known for, and more confident than ever.
