What 3 things does anyone starting in your industry need to know?..
3 things anyone needs to know is, 1. This industry is a grind, marathon. 2. This industry is all about what have you done for me lately. Cut throat. And 3. Relationships is key. There’s a saying artist come and go but relationships stay.
What would you do differently if you were starting in your industry now?
Nothing but cherished my earlier relationships. I didn’t understand how important it was back then.
Which people or books have had the most influence on your growth and why?
I’ve had few mentors who have had most influence in my life. Jeff Robinson, NO.ID, Ed Holmes just to name a few.
Some books that have influence me are Napoleon Think and grow Rich, Phil Jackson 11 rings, Curtis Jackson Hustle Harder just to name a few.
What would you say is the #1 key to success in your music career?
#1 key to success in my music career is consistency.
Talk about the biggest failure you’ve had. What did you learn from it?
biggest failure I’ve had is believing in someone so much that I put my own dreams on hold. I learned to put me first.
What has been your biggest success story? Why do you think it was a success?
biggest success story is, me putting myself first. I am the sauce. I am it!
What keeps you going when things get tough in the music industry?
My family keeps me going when things gets tough
What made you pursue being a Producer full time?
I always been a musician. I figured why don’t I create and make a living off of it.
Would you sign to a label?
Yes because I believe in strategic partnerships.
What projects are you working on for the rest of 2022?
Working on few A list projects but most importantly my own artist Liyah.
