What 3 things does anyone starting in your industry need to know?
Be dedicated to your craft and work ethic, pursue fearlessly when it’s yours it’s yours and no one can stop that but you, And lastly get your business in order if you believe you possess greatness why not back it with business.
What would you do differently if you were starting in your industry now?
I would focus more on my path, music and music business and definitely pursue fearlessly.
Which people or books have had the most influence on your growth and why?
Dr. Miles Monroe my he rest in peace he has been a great leader, teacher, preacher in my life especially when times got rough or when I was transitioning to another desired level in life, Minister Louis Farrakhan growing up somewhat under the Muslim religion due to my mom upbringing Farrakhan has always been a major influencer I remember while young when ever Louis Farrakhan was speaking we stayed home and watched, it was like a national holiday not saying I completely understood as a young boy but as I reached manhood I was familiar with the respect to listen to the teachings of Minister farrakhan and I still do till this day, and far as books are concerned a “Great day to boss up” by Rick Ross was a great read that has inspired me in recent times, along with rap a lot ceo j prince book “The Art & Science of Respect” getting to know his back ground story was great and finding out we have something in common was even greater and knowing he had to over come trials to reach the level of success he has reached gives hope, but last but not least 50 cent book “Hustle Harder Hustle Smarter” probably influenced me the most because that was the first audio book that I listened to with the author actually read there words and that along inspired me to turn my Musik Journey short stories into audio that I incorporated with a Musik catelog which is now my up coming album “The Musik Journey” that’s set to be released September 5th 2022 #Tapin .
What would you say is the #1 key to success in your music career?
Sticking to the journey. Plenty of times I have given up packed up my shit and said I’m done truth be told it’s like a addiction or something or this feeling inside that let’s me know you can’t quit you haven’t given it all you got. knowing and feeling that made me unpack and get back to work, figure out how you going to make Music work for you.
Talk about the biggest failure you’ve had. What did you learn from it?
Well the biggest failure in resent terms was my last album committed I thought I had it all figured out all the plans and direction for the album but a unforseen situation railroaded my ambition, knocked my mind out my head, and my emotions to the for front I completely fell down and stayed down for a while. But looking back I needed it I had to stand back up but now I stand differently I feel much stronger I’m actually glad it happened I learned the areas with in self that I was weak and I had the opportunity to correct those defects right in time for “The Musik Journey”.
What has been your biggest success story? Why do you think it was a success?
My biggest success story is now my current motion The journey to releasing The Musik Journey I am having fun I feel relaxed no matter the outcome I’m already a success the project is already a success I feel I have elevated the quality of my sound and visuals everything is going according to plan even some unforeseen things has come but they all have been for the greater good so I’m good.
What keeps you going when things get tough in the music industry?
My gift that I was given I truly feel I was gifted the skill of Music and creation when I create something that I think is dope I can’t wait for others to check it out so I get a kick out of getting it prepared to be released to the world.
What made you pursue being an Artist full time?
Well I can’t say I’m pursuing music full time music is just a part of me I take it wherever I go I can’t stop and won’t stop creating but that’s not all that I do or enjoy doing there is so much more to me and my gift of creation to just limit myself to one artistry.
Would you sign to a label?
It’s a possibility it all depends on the business and if it makes sense I have to be able to visualize the benefit that it would have for me and my family and the future of KRAZY MUSIK ENTERTAINMENT INC. other then that I’m fine where I’m at and where I’m headed.
What projects are you working on for the rest of 2022?
All 2022 has and will be about “The Musik Journey” my new album that will be released September 5th and I may start prepping for the next projects later as the year ends.
