Etare Neged, born Eugene Allen III, is a musician and creator based out of Chicago, Illinois. Etare Neged has always had a passion for music and felt a different connection to hip hop throughout his life. When he stopped playing football in college, he was looking for a new way to let out his emotions, especially his aggression. He got exposed to an industrial track and at once knew that writing was his calling.
He began writing more industrial tracks and these early lyrics were grim and graphic showing his much darker side. Since he has been able to create more music and become more in touch with his emotions, he has a much wider catalog range. Etare Neged has also been able to open his own independent label OverHorde Entertainment, Inc.. This is where he is free to make decisions on his sound as well as support those close to him in their musical journey.
Etare Neged has evolved so much as an artist since his debut. He has many stories he portrays through his music. Unfortunately, he has a fight with cancer which he was able to win and come back from. This experience has helped him become motivated to make inspirational music. He produces all of his own music because he believes it sets the stage for each song and is the backdrop to each story, so no one easel would be able to do it but him.
Everyday he believes in the mantra “work hard, play hard.” He does not keep traditional hours so at any moment of the day he could be asleep or wide awake. This helps him be open to any inspiration that comes his way. He spends time writing lyrics and beats whenever he is called to do so. He also believes in taking time to enjoy himself by playing video games and unwinding.
Etare Neged has released 6 solo albums in his career, including his most recent “The Sound of Hell’s Winter” on February 2, 2022. He is now making more music as well as completing visual projects that he has set to release this spring. He is always creating more for his fans and being a motivator for his followers. Don’t lose sight of Etare Neged, as he has big things ahead.
