Gorillax Music Group’s very own Esco continues to rise as one of the most exciting voices in Toronto’s evolving Latin music scene. Of Cuban and Salvadorian roots, Esco has been steadily making waves across Canada with his unique fusion of Reggaeton, Pop, and DnB, capturing the attention of audiences and industry insiders alike.
Most recently, Esco was featured on Live Nation Canada’s “Ones To Watch” showcase, an exclusive platform highlighting emerging talent shaping the future of music. His performance not only affirmed his growing influence but also positioned him among a new generation of multicultural artists pushing the boundaries of sound and storytelling.
Esco first made his mark with the release of his debut EP Mismo Destino, under Gorillax Music Group, which introduced his raw lyricism and dynamic sonic palette to a global audience. The project was brought to life through provocative visuals produced in collaboration with BLRI Media and Fibsion Media, showcasing GMG’s dedication to building a strong visual identity alongside their music.
Continuing his momentum, Esco took the stage at Sankofa Square during Hispanic Heritage Month, performing alongside GMG’s producer duo Los Playmakers. The performance celebrated Latin excellence and cultural pride, further solidifying GMG’s presence as a force within Toronto’s creative scene.
Esco’s work ethic extends beyond performance — contributing behind the scenes in artist development and marketing, reflecting the same leadership and passion that define his artistry. His efforts have not gone unnoticed; he was featured on CBC Music’s The Juno Awards Blog as part of their “Encore: Artists on the Rise” spotlight, just as the Junos announced the introduction of a Latin music category — a major milestone for the community.
With growing international attention, including interest from Billboard, Esco’s trajectory signals the emergence of a new wave of Latin talent from Canada ready to make its mark on the global stage.
